Hi! I’m Julia Zass, a multidisciplinary designer and illustrator with over 7 years of experience. I create visual components for websites, landing pages, media, interfaces, emails, and social networks. Sometimes I experiment in other design fields.
In design, I appreciate functionality, minimalism, and aesthetics. That’s why I strive to bring my contribution into projects with the same mindset and help other projects to follow the same path.

Illustration takes a special and beloved place in my work. It helps projects to stand out from competitors and tell something that is difficult to tell using other ways. Not everyone needs illustrations, sometimes it's more appropriate to show an idea in words or other visual solutions. That's why I suggest using illustrations only when they can help to solve a product's problem and complete the work's visual component harmoniously.

Project's usefulness, ethics, and environmental friendliness are quite important to me. It would be wonderful if every business were inspirational, helped clients to solve their problems, and improved the quality of life.

Little Wins
For more than 5 years I was keeping a drawing journal every day. Some parts of the project can be seen here and here.

I wrote "The Wonders of Daily Drawing" book.

I was featured in the Creative Boom magazine.

My websites were featured on Land-book (4x), Muzli (2х), cyrillic.design (4х), #madeontilda (10х), Lapa Ninja, Admire the Web, and other resources.
A Few Facts About Me
In 2019 I was accepted for a dream Master’s degree at an Academy of Arts in the Netherlands, but I couldn’t save up enough money to pursue it.

I always have a small notebook with me, so I could draw if I wanted to in every place and at any time.

I love to cook and serve food beautifully. I perceive meals as one more opportunity to combine elements into a harmonious composition.
I'm open for new projects and collaborations. Shall we make something fun together?
